Gas

Each apartment in Dolphin Quays has independent gas-fired central heating.

Boilers are generally located in cupboards off of hallways, and are vented to external walls by way of flues which pass through the void above the suspended ceilings.

Owners should be aware that all flues must be capable of inspection, via fire-proof hatches, in accordance with current gas regulations.

If owners are sub-letting their apartments, legislation requires that the installation is inspected and certified annually. Owner occupiers are also recommended to have their boiler installations inspected and serviced regularly.

If you smell gas;

• Turn off the gas supply
• Open doors and windows to disperse the gas
• Put out naked flames or cigarettes
• Don’t use electrical switches
• Alert concierge and if the smell persists contact the Gas Emergency Services, Transco on 0800 111999
